    How to use

    Ebb shows a whole week of fishing and boating conditions as a living ocean cutaway. Each square is one hour: sky above, tide below, with wind, chop, precipitation, and night stars layered in.

    Tips

    • Tap a square to see that hour's tide height, rising/falling tide, wind, cloud cover, precipitation, and temperature.
    • Read the waterline as tide: higher black water means higher tide; lower black water means lower tide.
    • Watch the surface for wind and chop. Stronger wind makes rougher water, whitecaps, and spray.
    • Set Waves to Still if you prefer a quieter view. Chop still shows in the wave height.
    • Swipe left or right to cycle through your saved locations. It wraps around when you reach the end.
    • Move the little popup wherever you like. Press and hold it to reset it to its default spot.
    • Save coastal places in Settings. Ebb uses Open-Meteo for sky and wind, and nearby NOAA tide stations when available.

    Sky and wind forecasts come from Open-Meteo; location names © OpenStreetMap contributors. Your settings and recently resolved location names stay on this device. Searches and coordinates are sent directly to the forecast, tide, and location-name providers when needed. Tides can vary by shoreline and station distance. Simulated tide is a fallback when no nearby NOAA tide station is available; do not use Ebb for navigation.
